Regional & Community Benefits

The Weaver's Cove Energy project will help to supply the region's energy demands.  The facility will provide up to 20% of the region's natural gas supply, which will help consumers save money on their gas and electricity bills.

Weaver's Cove Energy will contribute up to 1,000 well paying jobs and $500 million in new investment to the community.  The facility will provide desperately needed jobs and additional revenues to Fall River and Somerset. Current estimates call for roughly 2,500,000 labor hours, resulting in approximately $125 million in wages paid to local and regional workers during the three year construction period. In addition, Weaver's Cove Energy will become the largest taxpayer in both Somerset and Fall River.
